CCTV Captures Thief Stealing Millions Of Naira Worth Of Filipino Hair From Salon While Salesgirl Was Fast Asleep 

A hair vendor in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has gone public with CCTV footage showing a thief sneaking into her shop in broad daylight and making off with several bundles of raw Filipino hair worth millions of naira.

The footage, timestamped September 22 at 2:16pm, shows a man walking calmly through the Lush Hairs by Princess store, browsing the wig displays and shelves as though he were a regular customer.

Nothing in his demeanor suggested anything out of the ordinary, no rushed movements, no obvious signs of nervousness, allowing him to move through the space undetected while going about his real intention.

What made the theft possible, according to the vendor, was that her salesgirl had fallen asleep on the shop’s couch at the time, visible in the footage lying undisturbed just meters away as the man helped himself to the premium hair on display. By the time the theft was discovered, he was long gone, leaving her to piece together the incident only after reviewing the recorded footage.

Additional clips shared alongside the CCTV video appear to show the same man posing for photos elsewhere in the shop on a separate occasion, days before the theft took place, footage the vendor has since circulated in hopes that someone will recognize him.

With the stolen inventory running into the millions of naira, she’s now appealing to the public for help identifying the suspect as she works with the images available to track him down.
