British man admits drügg!ng and r@p!ng wife for 20 years in ‘h0rrific’ abus£ involving 13 other men

A British man in his 60s has admitted drügg!ng and r@p!ng his wife over a 20-year period in what police described as a “h0rrific” campaign of s£xü@l @büs£.

The man from Stockport, whose identity has been withheld to protect his wife’s anonymity, pleaded gü!lty to a further 45 charges, bringing the total number of charges he has admitted to 60. 

Greater Manchester Police said the case involved 13 other men who have been charged in connection with the alleged @büs£ of the woman. Nine of them face charges relating to r@p£ and s£xü@l @ss@ült, while another man has already pleaded guilty to conspiring to r@p£ and drüg the woman. 

The husband has admitted charges including r@p£, s£xü@l @ss@ült, @ss@ült by p£n£tration, administering a subst@nce with intent and sharing intim@te images or videos.

Police said the investigation remains complex and that specialist support is being provided to the woman.

The case has drawn comparisons with that of Frenchwoman Gisèle Pelicot, whose former husband was convicted in 2024 of drügg!ng her and arranging for other men to r@p£ her.

The Stockport man is yet to be sentenced, with prosecutors saying his fate may not be decided until proceedings involving the other accused men are concluded.
