Isaac Fayose has commented on the appointment of his elder brother, former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, as Chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA). He suggested that the timing of the appointment was influenced by a recent visit from Peter Obi.

In a video shared on his Facebook page, Isaac stated that the position was not one of the most senior roles the government could have offered. He pointed out that his brother was neither appointed as a minister nor as an ambassador, but only as chairman of a government agency.
