During the interview, he stated, “I’ve told you earlier that President Bola Tinubu will be defeated in 2027. They know it. President Bola Tinubu will be defeated in 2027. When we want to be charitable, we say it will happen in a free and fair election. We know we won’t get a free and fair election with these people. But even in spite of that, we say President Bola Tinubu will lose the 2027 election.”

Abdullahi maintained that the opposition’s confidence was rooted in its assessment of public dissatisfaction, adding that the coalition believes voters are determined to support a different leadership when Nigerians eventually cast their ballots during the next general election across the country.
