Obi challenged Nigerians to confront an uncomfortable reality by drawing a striking comparison between Nigeria and war-torn Ukraine.

He noted that Nigeria, at roughly 923,000 square kilometers, is “at least 25% bigger than Ukraine,” yet Ukraine, actively engaged in armed conflict, manages to produce grain while Nigeria struggles in peacetime.

He argued this contrast exposes a profound failure of national productivity and leadership, stating plainly, “these are things we must stop,” and calling urgently for a decisive shift toward building a genuinely productive national economy.
