BREAKING: 300-Level Kebbi University Student Killed in Hostel Attack by Suspected Thieves

A 300-level Biochemistry student of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi, identified as Zaharadeen Nuhu, has lost his life after being attacked by suspected thieves at a private hostel in Kalgo Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

According to the university management, the student sustained severe machete injuries during the attack and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his inj¥ries in the early hours of Thursday.

The institution’s Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Ibrahim Magawata, confirmed the incident in a statement, describing the student’s death as a tragic loss to the university community.

The university disclosed that the Nigeria Police Force has commenced an investigation into the incident, while security patrols have been intensified in Kalgo and other off-campus locations where students reside.
