Nigerian music star, Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, has spoken on the need for visibility to maintain relevance in the entertainment industry.

While speaking during an interview with Selah Meditate, Kcee argued that being mysterious doesn’t have much effect as it used to in the entertainment industry and would completely lose its relevance in the next five years.

He noted that artists need to be peoples faces to remain relevant, adding that although absence used to create value, things have changed

“The mysterious factor won’t be relevant in five years. I spoke with some professors in America, and they confirmed it. AI can now do what we are doing. Absence used to create value in 2021–2022, but things have changed. Artists need to be in people’s faces,” he stated.
