Ayra Starr becomes first-ever African Artist to headline an NFL halftime show

Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has been announced as the headliner for the American Express halftime show at the NFL London Game.

The NFL announced the performance on its official website, describing Ayra Starr as a “generational talent” and highlighted   her connection with audiences in London and around the world.

Ayra Starr is expected to perform during the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Arya Starr also confirmed the upcoming performance in a post shared on her official Instagram account.

“I am so excited to perform at the NFL halftime show in London. London is one of my favourite places in the world and to bring Starrgirl to the NFL global stage is a dream come true for me. I can’t wait to see you guys there!,” she wrote.
