APC extends deadline for 2027 aspirants’ forms, revises screening dates

The All Progressives Congress has announced a fresh extension of deadlines for the sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The party also adjusted its screening schedule, giving prospective candidates more time to complete the nomination process.

In a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party said the sale of forms would now close at midnight on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

According to the revised timetable, the deadline for submission of completed forms has been extended to midnight on Thursday, 7 May 2026.

The APC further disclosed that the screening of aspirants would take place from Friday, 8 May to Tuesday, 12 May 2026.

It added that the list of screened aspirants would be published on Wednesday, 13 May 2026.
