‘Anytime he sees a snake, it’s Wike’ – Wike fires at Kwara Gov

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has accused Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of blaming him for virtually every problem he encounters.

Wike made the claim during an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time on Tuesday.

The former Rivers State governor said Abdulrazaq would even blame him whenever he sees a snake or any other reptile.

“The governor of Kwara, so unfortunate, anytime he sees a snake, it’s Wike. Anytime he sees a reptile, it’s Wike. Any day he doesn’t eat, it’s Wike,” he said.

Wike also accused the governor of devoting too much attention to gossip instead of concentrating on the responsibilities of his office.

He further alleged that Abdulrazaq was using the situation to divert attention from political problems in Kwara State.

Wike made the remarks while reacting to the Rainbow Coalition’s support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid and criticism from some APC governors.

He also questioned Abdulrazaq’s political record, alleging that the governor had replaced serving senators and members of the House of Representatives from the state.

“He has three serving senators; he changed all of them. He has House of Representatives members; he changed all of them. Now, if you are a good politician, you’ll see it doesn’t look good,” Wike said.
