Andy Cohen Breaks His Silence on Tracy Tutor Joining ‘RHOBH’ Season 16

The news broke in August 2026 that former “Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles” star Tracy Tutor would be among the cast for season 16 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Now, days later, “Housewives” producer Andy Cohen is breaking his silence, noting that her casting was a long time coming.

The “Watch What Happens Live” host was interviewed by Variety in August 2026, giving insight into everything from the future of “Real Housewives” to his opinion on Rosie O’Donnell filling in for Jimmy Kimmel. Regarding Tutor joining “RHOBH,” he started, “This is a very long time coming.”

Bravo fans have long called for Tutor to join “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” This desire intensified after Bravo aired season 15 of “Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles” in September 2024 and then put the series on an indefinite pause in March 2025.

During the Variety interview, Cohen was asked why Tutor hadn’t been cast on the show sooner, given her overall popularity with Bravo fans. He stated, “I think Bravo needed to make sure that they were done doing whatever they were doing with ‘Million Dollar Listing LA,’ and so, you know, everything happens in its own time.”

From there, the reporter mentioned that Tutor had previously said she wanted to “go after” some of the show’s cast members. He responded, “I know.” When asked about wanting the “drama” for the “RHOBH,” he stated, “You also want to hear that the person fits. Yes, I mean, I don’t know. It means that she’s got a connection and a feeling.”

A number of outlets reported on August 6 that Tutor would be filming for season 16 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” After that, the former “Million Dollar Listing” star took to social media to confirm that the news was true.

She said in an Instagram post, “Well… the secret’s officially out. I’m joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and I could not be more excited for this next chapter.”

Tutor then said, “Beverly Hills is home. I’ve raised my girls here, built my career here, and now apparently I’ve decided to let you all even further into my life.” After that, after admitting to being both excited and nervous, she claimed to be “Likely to get into some trouble.”

When asked for clarity on the failed casting for cities like Nashville and Chicago, he explained, “Meaning we have cast wide nets and put groups of women on camera who could be potential Housewives, but that we’ve just not found the right groups yet.”
