Nigerian political activist Aisha Yesufu, has urged voters to monitor he counting and movement of result sheets through every stage of collation during election processes.

While speaking via her X handle, Yesufu said that Nigerians cannot rely on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC’s technology during elections, stressing the need for Nigerians to pay close attention to the process from polling units until the final collation in Abuja.

“The technology of INEC cannot be trusted! We will consider everything manual and analogue. We must watch eagle eyed the counting of our votes on the Election Day. Watch like hawks as they write the results,” she said.

She also stressed that neither election officials nor result sheets should be allowed to leave the sight of voters throughout the process.

“Follow our result sheets from polling unit to ward, LG, State collation centres and finally to Abuja. In all of these no single official or result sheets must be out of our sights. From the creeks to the deserts we will follow. At the end we will all gather in Abuja and ensure that what the people voted is what is announced,” she added.
