ADC Candidate, Bejide Votes In Ekiti Governorship Election, Laments Vote-buying
The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dare Bejide, has cast his vote in the ongoing 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State.
Naija News reports that Abejide voted at the Oke Adura Polling Unit in Ekiti South West Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking to newsmen after voting, he described the voter turnout as impressive but alleged that vote-buying was taking place at the polling unit.
He claimed that members of a particular political party were distributing money to voters.
“There were allegations that this lady was distributing money, and I confronted her. She called her boss. The council chairman came here and started abusing me,” he said.
