Actress Yvonne Jegede categorizes Tinubu supporters, questions federal rehabilitation program

Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has shared her perspective on the distinct categories of individuals supporting the President Bola Tinubu-led administration. 

In a recent commentary, the vocal critic of the current government divided administration loyalists into three specific groups based on their motivations. According to Jegede, the first category consists of supporters who recognize the administration’s shortcomings but maintain their allegiance solely due to personal or political ties.

The second group, she noted, comprises optimistic supporters who genuinely believe the nation’s economic and social landscape will improve during the administration’s projected second term. However, Jegede was far less compromising regarding the final category, labeling them as “delusional” individuals who “need all the prayers they can get.”

In addition to her critique of the administration’s political backing, the actress also took aim at national security policies. She concluded her remarks by presenting a critical riddle to her audience, questioning the rationale behind the federal government’s ongoing rehabilitation and reintegration program for repentant terrorists.
