Abia State Govt. steps in to support veteran actress Ngozi Nwosu

Alex Otti, the governor of Abia State, has intervened on behalf of Nollywood veteran, Ngozi Nwosu’s medical bills, approving the payment for the first phase of her treatment.

The governor’s intervention came shortly after the actress cried out to the public for financial assistance to undergo major surgeries.

Martins Justice, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, confirmed the news via his X handle. He explained that the government’s support covered only a portion of the required expenses, noting that she still needs financial assistance.

“His Excellency @alexottiofr has just stepped in on the health issues of our Nollywood legendary actress Mrs. Ngozi Nwosu to approve the first part of her medical bills. While we sincerely appreciate His Excellency, we still appeal to kind-hearted Nigerians to please support her in any way possible. On behalf of the creative industry, we all thank you immensely, my leader. Ndewo sir,” he stated.
