A BokoHaram Suspect Konduga Phoned Me, I Didn’t Know NSA Was Tracking My Phone; I Was Arrested—Ndume

Senator Ali Ndume has stated that in 2011 he was arrested after being accused of sponsoring Boko Haram terrorists

Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Ndume said a suspected Boko Haram terrorist identified as Konduga called his phone and he answered the call without knowing that the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) was monitoring his phone.

Ndume stated that he was subsequently arrested by the DSS and accused of sponsoring Boko Haram. He stated that DSS charged him to court and after six years, no evidence or witnesses were presented before the judge to prove that he was a Boko Haram sponsor

According to Ndume: “This so-called Konduga called my phone. When I picked the phone I didn’t know NSA was tracking my phone. Then suddenly I was arrested and accused of being sponsor of Boko Haram. I was shocked, then I said, ‘Bring the evidence’. Six years into it when they quickly charged me to court that I was in contact with Boko Haram, there was no evidence or witnesses before the judge Kolawole.
