2027: OK Movement Appoints Sam Amadi Head of Advisory Council

The OK Movement has appointed the Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, Dr. Sam Amadi, as the Head of its Advisory Council.

The announcement was made in a statement published on the movement’s verified X account on Tuesday.

According to the statement, Amadi’s appointment reflects the movement’s commitment to strengthening its leadership with experienced professionals dedicated to good governance and national development.

The group described Amadi as a respected public policy expert, legal scholar and advocate of good governance, noting that he brings extensive experience, integrity and strategic insight to the movement.

It expressed confidence that his leadership would further advance its mission of building a united, people-driven platform focused on Nigeria’s progress.

“The OK Movement Leadership is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Sam Amadi as the Head of the Advisory Council of the OK Movement.

“We also warmly welcome Nana Kazure to the OK Movement. Your decision to join this growing movement reflects our shared commitment to building a better Nigeria for all.

“Together, we are bringing together credible leaders, experienced voices, and passionate Nigerians determined to make our country work again. Nigeria will be OK,” the statement read.

The movement also welcomed Nana Kazure, describing the addition as part of efforts to broaden its coalition ahead of future political activities.

The OK Movement is a political platform comprising supporters of Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidates of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general election.

The platform says it aims to mobilise Nigerians around issues of good governance, accountability and national development while building support for the NDC ahead of the next presidential election.
