18 Pakistani Troops Dead After TTP Suicide Attack on Damangi Scouts Base in Bajaur

The overnight violence was not confined to a single military installation. Reports emerging from Bajaur indicated that several additional security formations also came under attack during the coordinated operation, including positions linked to the 23 Cavalry Division, the 172 Wing, 173 Wing, 177 Wing and units of the 26 Frontier Force Regiment. Roads leading towards the Damangi Scouts facility were reportedly blocked during the assault, complicating reinforcement and evacuation efforts as the fighting intensified.
